Toddler & Family Support
Nurturing Little Lives, Strengthening Families
At Shekinah Glory Community Outreach, we recognize that a strong foundation in the early years of life is critical to a child’s growth — and to the well-being of the entire family. That’s why our Toddler & Family Support Program is designed to meet the developmental, emotional, and spiritual needs of young children, while providing encouragement and assistance to the parents and caregivers raising them.
Through age-appropriate activities, compassionate care, and community connection, we create a nurturing space where children can thrive and families feel supported, seen, and valued.
A Community That Cares
Our Toddler & Family Support Program is more than a service — it’s a community. We offer a safe, welcoming environment where parents and caregivers are respected, children are cherished, and everyone is reminded that they are not alone.
Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old, he will not depart from it.” – Proverbs 22:6
Toddler Playgroups & Enrichment Activities
Our play-based sessions give children (ages 1–4) a safe and engaging environment to explore, grow, and socialize. These group settings also allow parents and caregivers to connect with each other, share experiences, and learn new ways to support their children’s development.
Activities include:
Storytime and early literacy exposure
Music, dance, and creative movement
Sensory play and hands-on crafts
Faith-based songs and simple Bible stories
Free play to promote social and emotional learning
Led by trained volunteers and early childhood educators, our playgroups are both fun and developmentally enriching.
Parent & Caregiver Support
We know that parenting, especially under financial or emotional strain, can be overwhelming. Our family support services are here to walk with parents and caregivers, offering encouragement, practical resources, and a listening ear.
Support includes:
Parenting workshops (positive discipline, routines, bonding)
Access to affordable or emergency childcare resources
Peer support circles for parents
Guidance and prayer for families in crisis
Referrals to food, housing, or financial assistance programs
